Quality and Food Safety Policy
The Adega Cooperativa de Almeirim was established in 1958, in the city of Almeirim, with the aim of valorizing and maximizing the raw material/grapes value delivered by the associates, thus contributing to the development of the region where we are inserted.
The Adega is based on the needs and demand of the clients/consumers and tries to put on the market final products at a price that the market is willing to accept.
Having this in mind, the Adega Cooperativa de Almeirim commits to:
1. Ensure
The promotion and marketing of the winery final products on a global scale;
2. Satisfy
The needs/requirements of clients, working in conformity with the quality management system implemented and the legislation in force, trying to give a quick and efficient reply to their requests;
3. Guarantee
Resources that allow to produce a quality final product at the lowest cost;
4. Bet
On diversification and image of products and packaging;
5. Promote
Communications and the relations with the exterior (clients, suppliers, bank and state) so they work as partners;
6. Include
Associate members/vintners as an integral part of the winery and not as mere suppliers of raw material/grapes;
7. Guarantee
Food safety of its products through the implementation of HACCP system and monitoring the raw material/grapes in the field;
8. Train and inform
Its collaborators, in order to promote their constant training and improvement in their tasks;
9. Ensure
That the collaborators feel like an integral part of the company;
10. Provide
Facilities and a work environment in accordance with the prerequisites of Hygiene and Food Safety, products characteristics and production capacity;
11. Comply
With the legal and normative requirements always searching the continuous improvement of the Quality Management and Food Safety System according to NP ISO 9001:2015 and NORMA ISO 22000:2018.
