Quality and Food Safety Policy

The Adega Cooperativa de Almeirim was founded in 1958, in the city of Almeirim, with the purpose of enhancing and maximizing the value of the raw material/grapes delivered by its members, thus contributing to the social and economic development of the region, taking into account both the positive and negative aspects of the company. The Adega operates based on the needs and expectations of its customers and stakeholders, bringing high-quality and safe products to the market.

With this, the Adega Cooperativa de Almeirim commits to:

1. Ensure

The food safety of its products through the implementation of systems that allow the monitoring of the raw material/grapes from the field to the glass, ensuring safe and authentic products;

2. Ensure

The global promotion and commercialization of the Adega’s final products;

3. Satisfy

The needs/requirements of customers by operating in accordance with the implemented quality management system, responding quickly and effectively to their requests while guaranteeing product and service quality;

4. Guarantee

The resources necessary to produce a high-quality final product at the lowest cost;

5. Invest

On the diversification and image of products and packaging;

6. Promote

Communication and relationships with external entities (customers, suppliers, banks, and the government) so that they function as partnerships;

7. Include

Member growers as an integral part of the Adega, not just as mere suppliers of raw material/grapes;

8. Train and inform

Employees to promote their constant development and improvement in their tasks;

9. Ensure

That employees feel like an integral part of the company;

10. Provide

Facilities and a working environment that comply with the prerequisites of Hygiene and Food Safety, meet the characteristics of the products, and align with production capacity;

11. Comply

With legal requirements (statutory and regulatory demands) and standards, always seeking continuous improvement of the Management System;

12. Commite

To adhering to the requirements of the SGSQA, according to the NP ISO 22000 and NP ISO 9001 standards.
